The 'WoMentoring' Committee has a mission to connect and inspire women to advance in their careers. This committee will help network and forge connections to encourage our talented female population to build their careers in India. Our members include Heads of HR, senior-level managers, business owners, as well as women at mid and entry levels in their careers.
In 2013, NHRDN Mumbai Chapter has initiated and led a number of initiatives under the aegis of ‘WoMentoring’ These include:
Quarterly Workshops covering Self-empowerment, Genders at Work, Building business leaders mindset to embrace diversity, Gender and Leadership style, Personal Safety for Women and many others
Conferences to celebrate and learn from leaders especially women leaders
Partnered research with Bright Horizons Consultancy, USA on Women's issues in the workplace
Training on Mentoring, Gender sensitization etc. to be offered on demand to corporate and educational institutions
Training on Prevention of Sexual Harassment for faculty of educational institutes, students and to be offered on demand to corporates
Mentoring of twenty female students of the Welingkar institutes MBA batch on a pilot basis
Power sessions to share Diversity Best practices with participants from the industry and other corporate on request
Developing the WoMentoring brand by launching a web page and brand awareness initiatives
